The incumbent will oversee and manage all Final Test Lab activities
for optimum efficiency, test throughput, and test accuracy. In addition, the incumbent will initiate
and/or directly conduct data analysis to identify failure modes and root
causes of final test failures within a quick response process or Six Sigma
continuous improvement team scope. Responsibilities will include
managing the work flow in the LAN cable test Lab; ensuring that testing is
completed in accordance with established procedures and priorities; conducting statistical analysis to identify
failure modes of final test failures; conducting statistical analysis to
establish final test data control limits, and leading continuous improvement
project teams to provide preventive actions for potential final test failure
modes; providing educational tools, training, and opportunities for
development growth for Lab technicians; initiating, monitoring, and verifying
the effectiveness of internal corrective actions for final test failures; establishing
and/or maintaining effective product acceptance sampling plans at final test;
creating and maintaining 5S standards
of appearance and organization inside and around the LAN Lab. Requirements include a BS in an engineering
field, with a BS in electrical engineering preferred; Three or more years of
QA supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment; Six Sigma Black
Belt certification or willingness to pursue equivalent professional
accreditation; functional knowledge of test equipment used in the production
of LAN cables; strong communication, analytical, and organization skills;
